Moments at Sunset

Our most valuable possession is life itself, for in its span we strive to add meaning and purpose to our existence, explore possibilities, realize potential, build relationships, foster creativity, enliven with hope, make memories and commit to evolve our being. 

But the most striking distinction of all is that we are given an opportunity to be part of a unique tapestry of infinite magnificence and incomprehensible riches. We must, therefore, be eternally grateful for this priceless gift and should endlessly cherish this wonderful marvel because only in doing so do we find true happiness!

The Bubble is born

My good friend, Indraniel Chandra, Niel for short, has taken computing, blogging in particular to a new level. His effort has led folks like me to be part of Bubble - The Blackberry Bloggers Lounge, a platform that promises hitherto unseen interaction among bloggers using blackberry!

Himself a very seasoned hand in the field of Information Security, it is no surprise to see Niel innovate and create a sphere aimed at changing the way we deal with micro-computing, by which I mean hand-held computing that is limitless in mobility. This is surely one marathon effort!

So then, all of you fellow bloggers out there using blackberry and desiring to be a part of the Bubble, do send me your PIN via email and I'll be sure to pass them on to the Master Yoda himself for addition and subsequent inclusion into this world!

Welcome to Mumbai

Mumbai is many multitudes intricately woven into one! It is a system more than a place, one which is extremely fast paced, chaotic, frenzied yet interesting! Living up to its ominous reputation, it is a city that never sleeps or pauses as the world saw during the grim incidents of 26/11 last year.

It's intricately woven roads, snaking in between layered over bridges and sky hugging buildings makes one feel that even the lifeless is full of constant life. It is a city of stark contradictions, of extreme poverty and supreme opulence laid right next to one another, and in utterly happy coexistence.

Huge milling crowds that could rival a division of soldiers makes one feel the superficial purpose of human continuance with which aim every human sets foot into this seeming bewilderment!

Woes are a plenty, especially when one is on the road, set to reach a destination! What would otherwise be a journey of a few minutes could well take up an hour due to the absolutely chaotic traffic which moves at lesser than snail's pace! And if you are one of those people who'd be overwhelmed by the sight of a few thousand people and pondering how easy or difficult it is to jostle and rub shoulders on a walk, you better think twice before calling Mumbai your destination!
