I remember the days in school. We were allowed in Library during the free hours and all the kids would rush to the comics counter. The first ones would get The Asterix and Tin Tin.
Then after long time during my college days I found that the kids section in public library had the Asterix collection. Guys above 15 are not allowed. But I would sneek in, sit in the kids' chair and read from morning to afternoon. But I would have to endure the angry looks of the librarian. Atlast they banned me from the kids section

Asterix comics are a masterpice! Every frame.. I mean every frame is simply excellence and great creativity-one of the best ever comics to ever come in print! :)

I have seen this character sometimes in book, but haven’t know or interested to read. Seems it entertained many of you here and great it’s B’day.

I have read only Tin Tin, loved it... maybe someone should have told me when I was young about Asterisk! The only Asterisk that I can associate with now is an open source IP PBX!!
