Shift happens

Take a look at the presentation below!

It emphasizes on, perhaps, one of the most important aspects of our lives, personal and professional, that aspect being 'Change'! What is relevant in the context of what we do today, may not always hold the same importance tomorrow.

Some of us may argue that such a cataclysmic and continual shift of focus can only bring chaos, but I'd like to view this as many an opportunity, presented to us to evolve into better beings who take cognizance of happenings around them while not losing sight of their purpose and inner selves!

The easiest way, to overcome the pressures of an overwhelmingly fast-paced and seemingly chaotic life, is to acknowledge that change is inevitable and that it happens for a reason, which some of us understand while some others choose not to accept! Do ponder through, and let me know what you feel about this.

  9. I agree change is inevitable, but we have to be aware about accepting in matter of fate and get ready to grow from where we have thrown, like a plant grows from seed.

Wow the information in the video was awesome, I learn much and about how far the world is moving today with an intention of tomorrow, not exactly. Thanks Rakesh :)

  10. Hi Rakesh! Change is surely inevitable, but sometimes it seems things repeat themselves and usually that's not nice... Anyhow, every country has had its turn or will have it... ;)

Blogtrotter has a nice lunch location for you. Enjoy and have a great weekend! I’m having the benefit of the holidays in Portugal this week... ;))

Yeah, thats what makes this a wonderful presentation! Of course, the statistics are true! I'd bet that they are a bit outdated too!

Btw, the music in the background is Yanni's score for the movie Last of the Mohicans!

    Cheers

Yes, I agree with your view that one needs to be cognizant of change and accept it more readily than shy away from it.

  17. Hi Rakesh, I became a follower of 'Redifining Oblivion' recently, after reading about it in 'Thetravestyofbeinganapostrophe'. I am glad I happened to visit this blog. It reads good.
This video is a 'good to watch', but I tried to tally much of the information given in it by real statistics. Some of the info is not true and varies drastically by what it say in this vid. But nonetheless, its a good watch again.
    Thanks--

Thanks very much for being part of the blog-walkers with me! Appreciate it truly!

I believe this video was created taking into consideration many surveys that were conducted for this very purpose. I'm not sure if the authenticity of the information mentioned here can be verified, but still it does create a significant impact!

Apologies for the late response ;)

    Cheers

    Rakesh
