Have you seen my Childhood?
I'm searching for the world that I come from
'Cause I've been looking around
In the lost and found of my heart...
No one understands me
They view it as such strange eccentricities...
'Cause I keep kidding around
Like a child, but pardon me...
I'm searching for the world that I come from
'Cause I've been looking around
In the lost and found of my heart...
No one understands me
They view it as such strange eccentricities...
'Cause I keep kidding around
Like a child, but pardon me...
People say I'm not okay
'Cause I love such elementary things...
It's been my fate to compensate,
for the Childhood, I've never known...
'Cause I love such elementary things...
It's been my fate to compensate,
for the Childhood, I've never known...
Have you seen my Childhood?
I'm searching for that wonder in my youth
Like pirates and adventurous dreams,
Of conquest and kings on the throne...
I'm searching for that wonder in my youth
Like pirates and adventurous dreams,
Of conquest and kings on the throne...
Before you judge me, try hard to love me,
Look within your heart then ask,
Have you seen my Childhood?
People say I'm strange that way
'Cause I love such elementary things,
It's been my fate to compensate,
For the Childhood I've never known...
Look within your heart then ask,
Have you seen my Childhood?
People say I'm strange that way
'Cause I love such elementary things,
It's been my fate to compensate,
For the Childhood I've never known...
Have you seen my Childhood?
I'm searching for that wonder in my youth
Like fantastical stories to share
The dreams I would dare, watch me fly...
I'm searching for that wonder in my youth
Like fantastical stories to share
The dreams I would dare, watch me fly...
Before you judge me, try hard to love me.
The painful youth I've had
Have you seen my Childhood....
The painful youth I've had
Have you seen my Childhood....

yes ..a sad day..
ReplyDeleteHe was some guy...some kinda magnetic attraction for his songs...
N no one really expected sucha sudden end..shocking..really shocking.
May his soul rest in peace..
The photo says it all.
ReplyDeleteJackson was truly the Generalissomo or God of Pop - a prodigy, who like Elvis, believed his own fan mail.
If he'd allowed someone to remind him he was no Emperor, but an entertainer, he I'm sure he would have lived many more years.
However I am sad that Farrah died.
Pete
Sad Sad Sad ! I almost burst in tears when they played Heal the world today on TV. Theres no one like him. I never believed in any of those controversies surrounding him. He is a true legend in all ways ! Music is never going to be the same without him !

ReplyDeleteHis pass away is a great lose to music. I’m not his fan tough and haven’t listened many of his songs, so I can’t feel much, but I share my regret with you all. Nice lyrics.
ReplyDeleteRest In Peace, Michale Jackson ! You will always remain alive in the hearts of millions of fans !
ReplyDeleteHe was troubled soul. Hope he find peace in the other world. I've been shedding tears like I knew him... such was his powerful influence.

Life has to go on Rak...and his music will live on with you :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't feel for him so much, may be his music wasn't so much of my kind...some of them, yes....
and I was looking at how the world reacted o his death...then I thought if Chaurasia passed away before giving the world his classics of the later years...then i felt the extent of loss,
devika
I can't believe still that Michael Jackson died??

I am heart broken by MJ's death.
ReplyDeleteRak,
ReplyDeleteThanks for song link -- "heal the world"...I just heard it now...nice song :)
and Rak, while we may be sad about losing him, to me, a more relevant aspect is his own loss, perhaps....a life cut short so abruptly, anyway...
but really, I can't get myself to grieve over death...never do I do that...remembrance is all i do,
wishes,
devika

I will so miss this man.. he was my dance inspiration!
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine back in junior school, use to moon walk just like him, you wont believe this but we were just 10years old!
He and I were so fascinated by Late Mr.Michael Jackson that we use to stay after school just to unhinge ourselves dancing like him.. heh heh.
I even talked with Shyamak Davar, and shared our passion with him, he is also a terrific dancer and pianist.
Thanks for writing about MJ and making him immortal in our hearts!
Big Ups!
