Remembering Michael Jackson

Have you seen my Childhood?
I'm searching for the world that I come from
'Cause I've been looking around
In the lost and found of my heart...

No one understands me
They view it as such strange eccentricities...
'Cause I keep kidding around
Like a child, but pardon me...

People say I'm not okay
'Cause I love such elementary things...
It's been my fate to compensate,
for the Childhood, I've never known...

Have you seen my Childhood?
I'm searching for that wonder in my youth
Like pirates and adventurous dreams,
Of conquest and kings on the throne...

Before you judge me, try hard to love me,
Look within your heart then ask,
Have you seen my Childhood?
People say I'm strange that way
'Cause I love such elementary things,
It's been my fate to compensate,
For the Childhood I've never known...

Have you seen my Childhood?
I'm searching for that wonder in my youth
Like fantastical stories to share
The dreams I would dare, watch me fly...

Before you judge me, try hard to love me.
The painful youth I've had

Have you seen my Childhood....

  3. The photo says it all.

Jackson was truly the Generalissomo or God of Pop - a prodigy, who like Elvis, believed his own fan mail.

If he'd allowed someone to remind him he was no Emperor, but an entertainer, he I'm sure he would have lived many more years.

However I am sad that Farrah died.

  23. Life has to go on Rak...and his music will live on with you :)

I didn't feel for him so much, may be his music wasn't so much of my kind...some of them, yes....

and I was looking at how the world reacted o his death...then I thought if Chaurasia passed away before giving the world his classics of the later years...then i felt the extent of loss,

  26. Rak,

Thanks for song link -- "heal the world"...I just heard it now...nice song :)

and Rak, while we may be sad about losing him, to me, a more relevant aspect is his own loss, perhaps....a life cut short so abruptly, anyway...

but really, I can't get myself to grieve over death...never do I do that...remembrance is all i do,

    wishes,
    devika

  32. I will so miss this man.. he was my dance inspiration!
A friend of mine back in junior school, use to moon walk just like him, you wont believe this but we were just 10years old!

He and I were so fascinated by Late Mr.Michael Jackson that we use to stay after school just to unhinge ourselves dancing like him.. heh heh.

I even talked with Shyamak Davar, and shared our passion with him, he is also a terrific dancer and pianist.

Thanks for writing about MJ and making him immortal in our hearts!
    Big Ups!
